Tart and bright. It's combination of strawberry and cherry it is a wonderful wine to have go with chicken parmigiana, pizza, burgers, heavy cheeses and spices. It is still a strong red, despite the bright notes and tartness, and will go well with your heavier dishes and red sauces. (gravy if you're down south.)
It is a cheap wine to purchase, but can not be compared to other wines at it's price range.
It pairs well with heavier meats and cheeses. A plate of sliced cheeses, pepperoni and other meats will pair quite well with this wine.
